Chrono Cross is another game with some truly wonderful music. Chrono Cross came out for PlayStation 1. At that time, music has transitioned from midi to more orchestrated pieces thanks to the improved capacity of the CD. I feel that Chrono Cross OST is one of the best soundtracks, if not the best video game soundtrack ever made.

The composer Yasunori Mitsuda is the one who also made the Chrono Trigger soundtrack.

My favourite pieces would be Dream of the Shore and Radical Dreamers (ending theme).
