Well, I don't really have this book but I found the images on artnet.com.
New York artist Steve Mumford covers the American invasion of Baghdad from 2003 to 2004 with his ink and watercolors. I'm always pretty amazed by people who can travel and sketch, in this case, even colour. Wonder if everything is done on the spot. It covers the relative calm side of the city as well as the battlefield.

I have this book. It's really stunning. You're right, traveling and drawing is a real skill, especially when there's a war going on. The situations this guy gets into is really amazing. Anyone who is thinking about getting this book, it also has his diary entries interspersed throughout.
