Went to the Singapore Biennale 2011 at Old Kallang Airport today. It's a hot, sunny and humid day, just like any other day in Singapore.
Singapore Biennale 2011 is held at several locations, Old Kallang Airport being one, and is the only one with free admission.

It's great that these de-commissioned buildings are put back to use again.

Houses arranged in a figure of 8. Cool.

Why does this reminds me of Inception

This is a radical house. It's made of layers of cardboard from the bottom to the top.

I'm beginning to notice a lot of video art. This one has projected text flowing off the wall to the ground. The transition at the edge isn't too good.

Another one of those video art thing.

On display are architecture sketches.

Things that used to be called vandalism in the past is now called or recognised as "art".

Probably detacted from some phone. The resolution is quite good.

A box of ocean. Cool idea. It's a projected video so the waves do move.

They probably can't see me taking a picture of them.

There are lots of drawing and kite building activities for kids.

The old plane hanger now has a barn in it. Can't see the horse anywhere.

Walls of drawings from primary school kids. I would love to see a wall of drawings from their parents as well.

This is the Merlion Hotel at the other venue. Though interested to see what's inside, I've an allergy to queuing.
