Book Review: Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia (2017)
Notice that I put the year of publication behind the book's title? I'm pretty sure this book will be updated in the future with the never-ending Star Wars franchise.
I've seen many all-encompassing Star Wars books and this may be to most comprehensive yet. However, it does not cover in greater detail that other more specific books cover, e.g. clothes, planetary systems, creatures, vehicles.
This book is a very accessible version of an encyclopedia that attempts to include as much as it can about everything you have seen from the films. There are labels pointing to different interesting things in the photos of costumes, vehicles, props, and short captions for all photos.
This hardcover book only has 200 pages. If it's going to be a real encyclopedia, it would probably be 800 pages or thicker. As it is, it serves well as a quick guide and reference to all Star Wars fans. For fans who want greater details and more information, there are always more subject specific books to check out.
