Book Review: Suicide Squad: Behind the Scenes with the Worst Heroes Ever
This is a fantastic movie companion. It has 176 pages but it's actually thicker than it seems because of the hardcover and all the removable items inside.
The book features artworks, designs, behind-the-scenes photos and film stills. The write-up is quite extensive and provides an insightful look into the film production, actors and the characters they play. It's fun and creepy to know that Jared Leto actually stayed in Joker character on set even when not filming.
The bonus are those removables and items attached to the pages. Things like surveillance photos, a CIA booklet of each character in the Suicide Squad, a letter written by Zoe to her dad, poster, blueprint design of some holding facilities, a poker card with Joker on it, and other items.
This book is packed with content and wonderfully laid out. Pictures are huge. Lots of things to see and read. It's definitely worth the money.
