Yes, I have that same strange look on your face too when I read that title.
Here's why I bought it.
My table isn't that big. With an art book on the left, my mouse barely has any breathing room left.
Here's the slight improvement. Now I don't have to put art books on my lap as I refer to them and type at the same time.
Oh, I have a Bluetooth wireless keyboard as well. It just keeps disconnecting or messes my typing with thiiiiiisssss sortttt offf nonsense. I still can find out how to get it working after reading countless forum pages of people complaining about the same issue. That is just ridiculous.
Notice also that this wired keyboard is even smaller than the wireless. There's no battery compartment.
There are two USB2 ports, which I don't use. If you're plugging the keyboard into a non-self-powered USB port on the computer, USB devices like cameras/iPods won't work if you plug into the keyboard's side ports.
Tiny arrow keys.
Oh, for Mac users, take note that the function keys have to be configured under the System Preferences. For example, is Dashboard is set to F12, then the Volume increase button is automatically set to Function+F12.
Here's how small the keyboard is in front of my 24 inch.
You might have read a lot of complaints about missing numeric pad. Well, it's just a matter of getting used to. You don't hear laptop users complaining about their laptop keypads that often.
If you're getting it for a PC, do some research at www.apple.com/support to see if Windows is able to support all the keyboard functionality.
Finally, this keyboard is only recommended if space constraint is a major problem. I will still prefer a keyboard with the numeric keypad had I a bigger table.

Mac uses graphics cards that have DVI output too. So it's DVI from Dell to the DVI port on the graphics card, nothing too complicated.

I was thinking of buying the new '-numpad' Apple keyboard myself, I have the +numpad one right now but I recently got an intuos 6x11 and I didn't realize it would take up so much precious desk space! If Apple reduced the wireless keyboard down from 80$CND I would get that one but it's a bit much, especially these days.
Oh wow the FN key is now on the bottom left. That's a lot more convenient than having it near the Delete.
