Book Review: The Art of Archer
This is a terrific companion for the series that fans will be delighted at.
It's not just an artbook but also covers the production process extensively. There are lots of interviews with the cast and crew who made the show possible. They talk about the script, the characters, and the funny things that happen behind the scenes. There's just so much to read. For the price of the book, it's really worth the money.
The artworks are fantastic too. The concept art includes character and set designs, storyboards and sketches. There are also photos of the cast, and reference photos used to create certain scenes and action. There are a lot of funny and sometimes awkward illustrations. Like a lot. They were drawn like that on purpose.
This is a large format hardcover book with 228 pages, even though Amazon listed it with 240 pages. Don't worry, you won't feel anything is missing.
Great book for the fans.
