John Lennon: The Collected Artwork
John Lennon was an artist before he had his success with the Beatles. His artworks are rarely seen though.
Now author Scott Gutterman has compiled all of Lennon's artworks into a 204-page hardcover that's published by Insight Editions.
Lennon produced numerous sketches and lithographs during his lifetime, starting in the early 1960s. In 1969, he had exhibited selected drawings which now form a permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Some of his works are associated with peace, politics, and eroticism.
