Review: Iron Ladies Postcards
Few weeks ago, an illustrator/concept artist Yangtian Li sent me a box of postcards that he has just released called Iron Ladies.
The postcard set is actually the result of a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that happened in 2016. The postcard collection is limited to 1000 editions and each comes with a personally signed certificate.
The packaging is nice. It comes with a wax sealed stamp (plastic actually) strap that goes around the box. On the stamp is the design of an Iron Lady
The box opens and closes with a magnetic latch.
Inside the envelope is a certificate of authenticity, some stickers and a small medal. And in the wrapped package are the postcards.
Here's the close up on the stickers on the envelope and the wrapping.
The small metallic medal's pretty cool.
These are the postcards. The illustrations are printed on thick brown cards.
The artworks are beautiful and there are 40 to check out. Looks like they were drawn with pen and ink, and maybe brush pen since I can see textures on the hair.
There's this warrior princess theme going on. All the characters wear some sort of helmet and the designs are very detailed and looks great.
