Review: MOFT MagSafe wallets and case for iPhone
Review samples provided by MOFT
MOFT has sent over some MagSafe accessories for the iPhone for review purposes.
I received the MOFT Snap Case (USD 49.99), MOFT Snap Field Wallet (USD 49.99), MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet (USD 59.99), MOFT Trackable Wallet Stand (USD 49.99) and the Everywhere Lanyard (USD 29.99).
Prices may vary depending on location.
Out of all these products, the MOFT Trackable Wallet Stand is my favourite because it has many features and the design is so functional, useful. So let's look at this first.
MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet (USD 59.99)

This tripod wallet has the following features:
- Can hold 2 cards
- Can be used as a stand
- Is trackable via Apple's Find My app
- Can be used as a camera remote
The main trade-off is it's weight-at around 98g so it does add more weight to your phone.

Design looks good and is well made. Exterior is made with vegan leather and feels like real leather.

The case would make the phone a bit thicker but it can still fit into most pockets but you'll feel the bulge.
![]()
The phone can be deployed vertically or horizontally on the stand.
![]()
And you can have the stand at full height or lower.

It's a versatile design.

There are magnets to keep the feet of the legs locked and stable.

Magnets are quite strong.

All the MagSafe wallets also come with an extra ring magnet that you can stick to the back of phones or phone cases that do not have MagSafe.

I can't say much about whether the hinge will become loose with time but out of the box, the hinge is stiff and can hold the phone at any angle.

There's a button on the exterior that lets you pair the wallet to your phone with Bluetooth.

Here's one key feature for me. After pairing the wallet to the phone, you can use the button to take photos or record videos. This allows me to use the wallet for vlogging more easily.
According to the company, the battery life can last for 6 months on standby. To charge the built-in battery, just place it on a wireless charger, so you'll need a wireless charger.

The wallet can also be used as a remote away from the phone. This is helpful when you want to set your phone away from you so that you can record or take a phone of yourself. This is great for taking group photos at a table.

The wallet also supports Apple's Find My app.

Press and hold the same button, a melody will appear and you can add the wallet to the Find My app. Once added, the wallet is trackable from the Find My app from your Apple devices. You can set the app to send a notification when the wallet is left behind, and you can have the wallet sound off to help locate it more easily. This feature works well.
If you lose the wallet, you can use the iPhone to track it. If you lose both the wallet and your iPhone, you can use another Apple device to track them.
MOFT Trackable Wallet Stand (USD 49.99)

Here are the differences and similarities between the MOFT Trackable Wallet Stand and MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet
- Both are made with vegan leather
- Both can hold 2 cards
- Both support Apple Find My
- Wallet stand can be used as a grip
- Wallet stand does not have the shortcut remote
- Wallet stand does not have the floating mode, so it sits lower on the table
- 62g vs 98.3g

The extra grip is useful for holding the phone for long periods of time, especially on public transport.

If you want to use your wallet as a tool for video and photography, get the tripod wallet instead.
MOFT Snap Field Wallet (USD 49.99)

The MOFT Snap Field Wallet can be purchased with or without a stand (more expensive). This is also available from the official Apple online and retail stores.

The main selling point here is this can hold 8 cards in its three pockets, and there are cutouts for holding a microSD card and SIM ejector. And can also be unfolded into one piece design.

This is for people who really need to bring out that many cards.
MOFT Snap Case (USD 49.99)

This is a hard case with a clean, beautiful and simple design. It's compatible with iPhone 15, 16 and 17 series. Weight is 33g to 38g depending on size, and there are many colours to choose from.
The exterior is made with MOVAS leather which is vegan leather and it feels like real leather. I would consider the leather surface to be smooth, not slippery. For grip, you may have to rely more on the pop-out buttons by the sides of the phone, and camera bump to prevent phone from slipping downwards.
Case is thicker than I expected but that should provide good drop protection.

Of course the phone case is MagSafe compatible and can work with other MOFT MagSafe accessories.

The interior has some space for the lanyard holder for the MOFT Everyday Lanyard.

The buttons are separate pieces and protrude out noticeably.

The camera button is covered but the sensitivity of the slider is not affected.

The camera module is not completely covered, but the edges are raised above the camera lens. I do not use camera lens protectors so I'm not sure if there's allowance for one.

Fitting is perfect, and cutouts for the USB-C port and speakers are precise. Edges on the front are raised so the display will not touch the table when phone is placed facing down. There's also allowance for a screen protector.
Everywhere Lanyard (USD 29.99)
The MOFT Everyday Lanyard is nice to have if you're gonna be using the MagSafe wallet.
I'm a big fan of lanyards because I record videos and it's convenient to have the phone out at all times. And when you add the MagSafe wallets, it's just more comfortable to have the phone out than have the bulk in the wallet.

The strap comes in two parts. There's the thick wide strap that's comfortable on your neck, and the thinner braided string that has the clips.

It would have been better if the whole strap is just the wider strap as I feel the braided string is not necessary, and there's a pretty large end strap with the MOFT advertising. This two part design makes the lanyard look unbalanced since one side will have more string, and the other side has more strap.
The 360 degree swivel only happens at the end of the wide strap, and not at the clip.

The lanyard holder to be placed inside the phone case has either one or two places to hook. You can choose whichever you prefer.

The clips are well made. The clips are wide instead of circular so they work better with the lanyard holder with two rings.
Conclusion
As mentioned, I like the MOFT Trackable Tripod Wallet out of the all the products shown. Having so many features packed into one compact design is extremely convenient. I can see myself using that often.
Alright, if you're interested to get any MOFT products, visit their online store. By the way, they sell many iPad cases that are worth checking out too.
