Back from Art Jam at Lime House
I just came back from the Art Jam that was held at Lime House. It's basically to talk about the Daniel Smith Watercolours that I've been using so far. I like them a lot, except for the Viridian colour.
The previous one was Paul Wang's Art Jam. Today it was mine. The next one would be from Marvin Chew. Just follow Arters Singapore Facebook page to get updates. Arters is the distributor for Daniel Smith Watercolours in Singapore, and they also carry the wonderful Stillman & Birn sketchbooks.
So here are the photos from today.

That's me talking about the colours from my palette. It's basically a conservative set of transparent colours that are good for sketches and glazing.

It's have-fun-with-watercolours time.
Some of the colours from my palette were on sale.
They are not really sold out. There were two packets left, mixed up in another box. But they sold well...
As compared to Paul Wang's more exotic palette. Or maybe my "sales pitch" worked.
After using watercolour from tubes, it's a bit difficult to get back into those pan watercolours. Sometimes those pan watercolours are not easy to wet, and using brush on hard watercolours wears the brush out faster.
It's easier to create large washes with tube colours.
