Book Preview: Goddamn This War!

Jacques Tardi is a French comics artist who has produced many antiwar comics. His earlier book It Was the War of the Trenches (US | CA | UK | DE | FR | IT | ES | JP), translated by Fantagraphics to English, won an Eisner in 2011 for Best Reality-Based Work.

His new graphic novel Goddamn This War! looks like it's going to be as gritty and harrowing.

The book's scheduled for release in August 2013.
