Journey to the West exhibition (3-24 May 2014)
Journey to the West is a trio of sketchwalks organised by NAC, NLB and Urban Sketchers Singapore. The goal of the sketchwalks is to let the public know more about the history of Jurong, which was once just a swampland.
We have visited Chinese Garden and Jurong Hill, Pandan Reservoir and Teban Gardens and also NTU's Heritage Centre and Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle.
The exhibition featuring the sketches of the public and Urban Sketchers Singapore is now running at Jurong Regional Library until 24 May 2014.
Below are some photos of from the opening yesterday.
We had Minister Lawrence Wong of Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth who came down to the library to check out the various activities that were going on that day.
Below's the time-lapse video of us setting up the exhibition.
This is the video of the opening.
