Punggol Waterway Park Sketchwalk (30 Nov 2013)

November 2013's sketchwalk was at Punggol. It's at the opposite end of Singapore for someone like me who lives in Bukit Batok. I can't complain though because Buz Walker came from Malaysia.

This is the first time I've been to Punggol. The Waterway Park actually reminds me of Bishan Park at certain sections.

This millipede was most unlucky. The empty water bottle was blown off the bench and landed directly on it, killing it instantly.

Tia's idea of taking a group photo before the sketchwalk. She said that people often leave halfway. Sometimes. Many also appear halfway, especially the latecomers. This is like a group photo for tourists.

This was quite an intense day. I had to wake up at 7am to go to Punggol. After that, I had to go to Fort Canning Park for the Wood Sculpture Symposium to do a story, and after that at 5pm I had to go to work until 1am. It was a long day.

This landscaped river is quite artificial now that I think of it.

It's quite a big park. Walking from one end to the other probably will take close to 1 hour.

Thunderclouds usually arrive on time in the afternoon.

That's the last page of my sketchbook. I took one year to finish 120+ pages of the hand-book. I'm so unproductive.

Did three sketches.

Show and tell under the shade. How convenient.

52 turned up. I guess that's the typical group size we have for sketchwalk.
