Sketches Alight event at National Design Centre

Sketches Alight is a small event held at the rooftop of National Design Centre. The event is part of Transitional___ which is a traveling creative platform created by Shophouse and Co. This is the second edition and Urban Sketchers Singapore are invited to be part of it.

The idea is to draw sketches using long sheets of paper, and then turning them into lanterns afterwards.

The crowd is actually quite small and the ones drawing are mostly the children, and us the Urban Sketchers.

Wheels on wheels.

Simple drawing materials.

That kid drew something related to WWII because his grandfather experienced it.

The pieces of artworks are rolled up and sticked together with tape.

The small lanterns looks quite cool.
