June will have more than just art books

I'm finally back from my three week national service.

There are now 12 art books piling up on my desk. 5 are Japanese art books. I'll be setting aside some of my future budget for Japanese art books.

But June will have more than just art book reviews.

I'll be organizing contests to give away art books. I've finally saved enough to have contests so it's pretty great. Check back to the blog frequently if you don't want to miss them.

Last month, I've also bought a couple of Blu-ray anime titles which I haven't the time to watch. You can be expecting some Blu-ray anime reviews in the future as well.

June is going to be packed.

Looking forward to the reviews, especially Cannabis Works (I've seen a few scans from the book, wow), Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain (I'm thinking about buying it) and Fullmetal Alchemist (heard about it somewhere).

I have that Betty Edward's book on my shelf as well, albeit an older printing. I don't think I ever got through it all the way - it's a nice book to get you going and break some (bad) habits most people have when starting to draw.

Looking forward to reading about the Leyendecker book since I've heard a ton about the man recently.
