Book Review: The Art of Apex Legends
This large format 192-page hardcover is a wonderful artbook companion to Apex Legends.
The art looks fantastic. The designs are varied and detailed. Half the book is on the characters. This book has a lot of visual eye candy. There are a few pages on weapons, more pages on the environments and a few pages for the UI and graphic designs. The world is actually set in the same sci-fi universe as Titanfall.
The accompanied text is quite brief though probably limited by the number of pages.
This is a great book for the fans.
Here's the downside which may not be a downside depending on why you may be interested in this book. So I've reviewed and featured countless video game artbooks and I feel like the art doesn't really stand out among other games. The art is technically accomplished and beautiful, but so are the art and designs from other games. If I don't know the title of this book, I probably won't know the characters are from Apex Legends instead of PUBG, Fortnite, Valorant.

I agree with you on the
I agree with you on the matter that the art and design is somewhat generic.
And that, obligatory, WEAPONS pages in every book of that kind. All the same to me.
But I really like the way how the characters are drawn, style and colouring are very competent and poses are lively.
Do you know who’s the author of these, full page character drawings?
