Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention (SGTCC) 2010
Singapore's own comic con called the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention is coming up this weekend from Dec 10-12 at Suntec City Convention Centre. Admission is not free so you'll have to get your tickets — you can still get early bird discounts.
The organizer is Reed Exhibitions who also seems to be involved in the earlier New York Comic Con. Due to the success from last year, this time round even more amazing guests are invited, including Marvel’s international talent scout, C.B. Cebulski, comic book writers Gail Simone and Matt Fraction, Marvel Comics illustrators Salvador Larroca, and Leinil Yu as well as Da TeamBronx toy designer, Tim Tsui and many more.
There are also plenty of local and regional artists who will be at the Artist Alley.
My colleague rocketraygun will also be there, at Booth J4, selling his new sketchbooks. Be sure to drop by because he's also selling other good stuff (hint: some of the art books I've reviewed here at really low prices).
Below's a brochure put up by some of the artists which I grabbed from Sonny Liew's website.
I was also invited as a media blogger so I can't wait to check out all the new stuff put up by the artists.
See you there.
