Book Review: Disney Tribute (and Pixar Too) by David Pavon

David Pavon is a character designer and concept artist. From what I can tell, it's pretty certain that he's a Disney fan.

This is his first artbook and it features fan art, basically most of the films from Disney, the old and the new ones. There are Snow White, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Mulan, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Dumbo, Frozen and many more.

I love his interpretation of the scenes. The colour schemes used are wonderful. They really capture the feeling of the films. In addition to the scene paintings, there are also character portraits.

I can't remember where I first heard of this book but I bought the book from Lulu Press. It's a self published book. 82-page hardcover. The print quality is quite good.
