Book Review: Draw Occupy Wall Street

Draw Occupy Wall Street is one of the more powerful piece of journalistic or reportage work I've seen.

From 20 October to 20 November 2011, Joshua Boulet from Texas went over to Manhattan to cover the Occupy Wall Street movement. He's a comic artist and "wanted an adventure" so he decided to take up the challenge to draw the protest movement.

He slept where the protesters were sleeping, he ate what they were eating, and he also cooked for them among other activities that he had to do while living in the tent city.

He drew with his brush and pen the detailed scenes he witnessed, and also wrote about his experience there. Through his commentary, you'll learn about what it's like there on the ground, to be with the people protesting against the greed of Wall Street. It's interesting to find out how the events unfold and also he made it through the 30 days at Zuccotti Park. The artwork is amazing and put you right at the scene.
