Book Review: Filmcraft: Production Design

Filmcraft: Production Design is a truly insightful resource for anyone looking to learn more about production design and movie making.

The book oozes the experience that the 17 featured production designers have spent years to accumulate, to perfect their craft.

Each production designer talks at length about how they got into the industry, their philosophies, the movies they are involved in and the production design. The book gives a good idea to this intricate process of designing the film.

Production design when done well should not be noticeable to the audience. So it's great that there's this book that goes behind the scenes and looks at work and people involved.
