Book Review: How to Draw Almost Everything Volume 2: An Illustrated Sourcebook

How to Draw Almost Everything Volume 2: An Illustrated Sourcebook - 01

How to Draw Almost Everything Volume 2 is a part of the Almost Everything series from Quarry Books. The first volume by Chika Miyata published in 2016 was quite popular, with 300+ reviews on Amazon. The artists for each book may be different and the artist for this book is Six Pommes.

This book is for those who want to draw but don't want to draw something too serious. All the examples are simple line drawings that anyone can follow and draw. Look at the cover art and you can get a good idea of what to expect in this book.

Now that I have a kid, two years old currently, this book looks like the perfect activity book for me to show her how to draw things. There are so many things to draw. Some of the drawings are quite funny too. Kids will love this book. I'm not surprised the first book was that popular.

These are drawings I drew from examples in my book to show my kid.

The book is packed with lots of things to draw so this is going to keep my kid occupied for some time, which is great of course.
