Book Review: London Sketchbook by Jason Brooks
Here's another beautiful sketchbook by Jason Brooks. This is actually the second sketchbook in the series that looks at different cities. His other two books are Paris Sketchbook (2013) and New York Sketchbook.
This sketchbook captures the daily life and scenes of what it is like to be in London. There are drawings of iconic buildings like the Big Ben, Shard, the gloomy rainy weather, the absolutely beautiful London architecture, parks, cafes, fashion, food, museums, vehicles and many more. This 160-page hardcover is filled to the brim. I can only imagine how much time was spent to create the artworks.
Another thing that I like is the variety of media used. It looks like there are pencils, pen and ink, digital, coloured pencil, markers, watercolour and perhaps other types of paint.
This is a really lovely sketchbook that well worth the money. Actually, all the three sketchbooks so far have been brilliant.
