Book Review: Tombs pel barri Gòtic
Tombs pel barri Gòtic is a sketchbook of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, which is also the old city of Barcelona. Some of the buildings date from Medieval times.
It's written and drawn by illustrator/graphic designer Stéphane Carteron. Featured within at the old but impressive architecture from the past, the alleyways, buskers, shops and what they are selling and the bustling streets with people. Most of the sketches you see are drawn in pencil and coloured digitally.
The sketches of craftsmen in their shops are pretty interesting. You get to see what they're creating, such as making lollipops or repairing guitars. It's nice to capture some of these scenes as they aren't normally visible to sightseeing tourists.
The book's hardcover, 102 pages.
