Book Review: A Walking Tour: Shanghai
This is part of the Walking Tour series of guides published by Marshall Cavendish. It's a tour guide book actually.
It's an informative guide with maps marked out with walking routes. Places of interested are further highlighted with labels and described in following pages, with information like opening times and admission fees if any.
There are accompanying pen and ink line art by Gregory Bryne Bracken, an artist from Ireland. I love the simple but detailed artworks. Very architectural in style. His works has also be featured in other Walking Tour books for Singapore (review), Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Hong, Paris and London.
It's a good book for art and travel lovers!
