Publisher Taschen has just released a new book that collects the famous fairy tales of Danish author and poet Hans Christian Andersen.

The Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Andersen includes 23 stories, namely

• The Little Mermaid
• The Emperor’s New Clothes
• The Darning Needle
• Twelve by Mail
• The Brave Tin Soldier
• The Snow Queen

• The Sweethearts
• Ole Shut-Eye
• Five Peas in a Pod
• The Ugly Duckling
• Little Ida’s Flowers
• The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep
• The Flying Trunk
• The Little Match Girl
• The Tinderbox
• The Pen and Inkstand
• The Farmyard Cock and the Weathercock

The artworks accompanying the book are from 1840 to 1980s and has artists such has Kay Nielsen, Arthur Rackham, Tom Seidmann-Freud, film animator Lotte Reiniger and others. There are also new artworks commissioned for the book.

It's a 320-page hardcover.
