Field Guide to Kanto by Kari Fry

A reader alerted me of this interesting book that's designed like a field guide of animals. The artist is Kari Fry who makes art inspired by video games, animals, internet stuff and pop culture.

The drawings here have a manga style with the outlines. Somehow it reminds me very much of Terryl Whitlatch's Animals Real and Imagined, also a good book.

The creature designs looks great, and may look like they are inspired by Pokemon creatures. All the drawings come with creature profile in English.
