Glass screen protector with S25 Ultra: Pros and Cons
Screen protector review sample provided by Benks
This article will look at the pros and cons of using a glass screen protector on the Samsung S25 Ultra.
Let's start with most obvious downside first. The glass screen protector is glossy and reflective, so you will lose the original anti-reflective coating that's on the S25 Ultra.
Benks does sell a glass screen protector called GlassWarrior AR with anti-reflective feature but I do not have a sample to test unfortunately.
There's no difference with writing experience. I did not notice any parallax, or gap between the line and pen tip, as the glass protector from Benks is not that thick.
I've not issues with drawing too. Pressure and tilt sensitivity works fine.
Generally sensitivity of the display is the same.
Face unlock works fine.
Fingerprint unlock takes more time to unlock. After you re-register your fingerprint, unlock works almost instantly.
When recording videos with the front facing camera, I notice more glare in backlit situations.
The price of the Benks WarriorHD glass screen protector is priced at US 29.99. The anti-reflective version is $3 more.
I personally won't spend more than US$10 for a screen protector because these are generic products that are made more expensive by branding. A cheap screen protector can still be as good as an expensive one.
