Review: Noodler's Golden Brown Ink
First of all, special thanks to Lisa Thaviu, a Youtube viewer, for sending me this ink. I've never tried any other Noodler's ink except the Bulletproof Black so it's great to be able to test out the other inks they have.
Noodler's Ink has many colours to choose from. Some are waterproof, some are not.
Just like the other colours, Golden Brown is sold in the same 90ml glass bottle. Be careful when opening the bottle because the company likes to fill the ink right to the brim. When I opened mine, some ink flowed out.
That's my handwriting sample. The ink is water-based and flows really well. It's quite wet. The colour of the ink varies from yellow to brown. There's colour transition depending on how you write.
It's a nice ink to draw with too.
The ink is not waterproof, so it's not suitable to be used with other water-based media. You can get some nice wash effects though if you apply water over the lines. The lines do not dissolve entirely. The colour of the wash is a bright yellow. Not sure if the ink is lightfast but I doubt so.
The price of the ink is around USD 16 (on Amazon US) not including shipping. That's a good price for 90ml (3oz) capacity.
You can find the ink at Amazon.com | Amazon.ca | Amazon.co.uk | Amazon.de | Amazon.fr | Amazon.it | Amazon.es
Search Jackson's Art (UK) too.
