Review: Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-Iro, Light Blue Ink

Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-Iro, Light Blue Ink - 01

Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-iro fountain pen ink is a light blue ink inspired by the sky.

The ink is quite bright, almost like bright cyan, but it's also dark enough and has good contrast against paper. If you're a watercolour user, you can think of this ink as a strong version of Cerulean Blue.

For writing and drawing purposes, this ink performs well. There's an attractive sheen, a gradation of colour, to the strokes.

It's a cheery colour that really reminds me of the sky.
