Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki fountain pen ink is a orange red ink inspired by the winter persimmon.

Fuyu-Gaki is a bright orange red that's strong and striking. It's actually quite close to the Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake which is a toned down version of the orange.

This ink has a good contrast against paper.

For writing and drawing purposes, this ink performs well. There's an attractive sheen, a gradation of colour, to the strokes. But the sheen can be difficult to spot because the ink's quite dark.
