Review: Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo, Crimson Glory Vine, Purple Red Ink
Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo fountain pen ink is a purple red ink inspired by the Crimson Glory Vine.
The colour's a version of dark purple leaning towards the red, almost like mauve colour. This colour actually reminds of dark grapes. On some websites, the packaging says that it's a "wild grape" colour instead of Crimson Glory Vine.
The ink has good contrast against paper. It's dull down so it's not too shiny and I find the shade to be pleasing because it's not glaring.
There's sheen, gradation of colour, but difficult to spot because the ink's quite dark.
For writing and drawing purposes, this ink performs well.
