Street Art Notebook: George Town by Ernest Zacharevic

I bought this notebook last year during the Penang George Town 2012 sketchwalk.

It's from a Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic whose based in George Town of Penang, Malaysia.

His street art is quite popular. You might have seen some floating around the Internet, especially the one with two kids riding a bicycle.

The notebook pages are decorated with photos of walls, shop shutters, and empty canvas that you can draw on. These are all places around George Town.

His art subjects would usually interact with the spaces around, such as the mural of a girl lifting herself with hands on windows, or he would have physical objects to go alongside his art.

My friend who has been to George Town recently told me that this mural has pretty much faded from the weathering.
