Erin Hanson: Open Impressionism, Volume II

Erin Hanson, an oil painter from California, has just launched her new artbook called Open Impressionism. She paints in a style she calls "open impressionism" which to me is a style that's rather eye catching, especially in its use of colours and the sense of depth created by the impasto paint.

The 300-page hardcover book is now available through her website and also on Amazon. It measures 12 by 12 inches so it's a rather large book. All the more to enjoy her paintings that she has created.

Below are some preview pages.

If you're interested in the tools she uses, I've actually interviewed her before.
