Book Review: The Art of Movie Storyboards: Visualising the Action of the World's Greatest Films
The Art of Movie Storyboards is an interesting book that looks at how storyboards have played their part in movie making over the years.
Featured in the book are 43 movies that go as far back as late 1930s. The first movie included is Gone with the Wind. I had not expected many of the movies in the book to use storyboards so that was surprising to me.
It's quite cool to see the artistic styles from the different storyboard artists. Some of the art are very good. Different movies require different levels of details and you can see that being reflected in the storyboards. Each movie has a few paragraphs talking about the use of storyboards during movie production.
It's a good book that film lovers should find interesting.
