Book Review: Creative Cultures: The Singapore Showcase
Here's a good book for creatives in Singapore. It's available at Basheer Graphic Books so you can contact them to order.
The hardcover is unusual. You can actually scratch off the surface to reveal the actual cover. Pretty much like those scratch-and-win cards.
It has 284 pages.
Creative Cultures: The Singapore Showcase features the designers, design studios and musicians in Singapore. There are work from across different disciplines such as architecture, illustration, graphic design, photography, product design, interior design and furniture, fashion and accessory design.
I only know of a few illustrators mentioned. The rest are all new. It's a great book to find out about other designers in Singapore and the kind of work they create. There are a few interviews but the rest just come with a short profile and quotes. The featured works are quite good.
It's an inspiring book.
Grab it while stocks last.
