Book Review: Superscenic 2: The Definitive Collateral Damage Studios Artworks Collection
Collateral Damage Studios (Facebook | Twitter) is a doujin group of artists with similar interest gathering together to create art. They were founded in Singapore in 2006 so they have been around for a while and I met them only at STGCC 2012 recently.
Superscenic 2 is their second artbook, an A4-sized 80-page hardcover. It collects personal illustrations and commissioned works from the members. Much of the art are of female characters in Japanese style. There's a strong Japanese comic art influence. The more polished works are from Xeph and WAHA. The quality is pretty good compared to other Singapore amateur art groups. They even have commissioned work from Danny Choo.
Here's the list of artists included where you can check out more art.
The book is sold at Basheer Graphic Books and Otaku Republic.
