Book Review: Aim High, Keep Moving!
Aim High, Keep Moving! is a book published to celebrate the 10th anniversary of OFFF. OFFF is a cultural event that happens every year that attracts artists, designers, musicians, etc. It's like an art pilgrimage.
The book is 356 pages, actually less as the last few pages are blank lined pages. It's a hardcover with a rubber band attached to hold the book together. There are also some stickers included, and a short film on DVD.
Everything inside is designed like scrapbook style. There are lots of drawings, scrawl, collages and photos. The visuals are very random. They are connected in the sense that the contributing artists all write and talk about their experiences at the OFFF festivals, the different years they went, the people they met and the activities happening there.
It's through the book that you can get a glimpse of what OFFF is about. You can go to their website www.offf.ws to find out more.
Cool book but it should appeal more to those who like scrapbooks.
