This is a really informative book that talks about almost all aspects of being a anime-style artist. If you're into creating stylised character art with storytelling, this is the book to get.

The book covers the business of anime and how you can make a career out of creating art. You'll learn the different genres, audience breakdown, marketing and reaching your audience, education and training, working in the industry, finding your style, building a brand and portfolio. All that's written by the very experienced Anny "Yoai", a Chinese-Canadian illustrator who likes to draw and design cute characters
This book is packed with so much useful information, how to spot trends, make money, using social media, how to deal with negative feedback, creating an online presence and even on how to take care of yourself so that you don't get burned out or injured from long hours of drawing. There are strategies discussed as well as detailed tips.
The book also has five detailed tutorials written by professional artists such as Meyoco, Carles Dalmau, Lord Gris, Miyuli and Simone Ferriero "SimzArt". The tutorials not teach techniques but also talks about finding inspiration, creating a style and also marketing your work.
This book is definitely worth the money considering the amount of insightful content included. Highly recommended.
