Chris Appelhans Monster House illustrations

I've recently found out that Chris Appelhans has a website, frogwhatstudios.com. It's more of an online portfolio for his art.

The beat board paintings he did for Monster House is absolutely fantastic. The Art of Monster House happens to be one of my favourite art books as well. I've spelled his name wrongly in that review, which is why I couldn't find his website until today, when I saw his name on CartoonBrew.com.

I love Chris Appelhans' aesthetic. He has beautiful work. I've found he has several affordable art prints at www.gallerynucleus.com and even shows original work there from time to time as well. I've been a fan of his for years now. Thanks for posting this!
