Review: Pantone Postcard Box: 100 Postcards
Cheap chips
Postcard boxes seem to be the new 'in' thing these days. I was interested in this Pantone box because I could use them in making some collage abstracts but my interest rather evaporated when I opened the lid to find that the cards were really enlarged Pantone chips rather than a solid color covering the front. I think it would have been much better if the logo, color name and number were on the reverse.
The card is nice and stiff and the back does have a STAMP HERE graphic and three white lines out of a light grey tint to write an address on. If you knew a hundred friends they could be sent a color each and become your Pantone Pals.
Still, the box is cheap enough for the cards to be enjoyed by kids to create a craft project or used for a color coordinated card sculpture.
