Huion Prime Day SALE (16 Jul 2023) and my recommendations

Below's the list of discounted Huion products on Amazon Prime Day 2024. And since I have reviewed many Huion products in the past, I'll give you my personal recommendations below.

Huion has three categories of products for digital artists: pen tablets, pen displays and pen computers.

Pen tablets are the screen-less drawing tablets. Pen displays are the monitors that you can draw on, but they are not tablets so you'll have to connect them to a computer. Pen computers is the latest product line and these are standalone drawing devices, tablets or desktops.

Huion has affordable pen tablets to premium pen displays so there will definitely be a product that can fit your budget.

Pen display recommendations

The Huion Kamvas Pro 19 will be discounted 10% off the official retail price of USD 1099. So this will be USD 935 with some good savings.

This was released early in 2024 and it's one of the latest product from the company. The pen display also comes with the KeyDial Mini K20.

Main selling point here is the matte glass touchscreen, 4K resolution and PenTech 4 that supports 16K levels of pressure sensitivity. User experience is good because now you can use finger gesture shortcuts for smoother workflow.

By the way, not all Huion products will be on discount on Amazon Prime Day. I do recommend you check Huion online store in case they have additional promotion over there too.

My second recommendation is the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 (2.5K) which probably provides more value for money simply because it's almost half the price of the Kamvas Pro 19. This will be selling at USD 479 on discount.

The size is good because it's larger than A4 size paper but it doesn't take up as much space on the table. The display is also matte glass and the 2560 x 1440 resolution is noticeably sharper than 1080P displays. There is no touchscreen though but there are hotkeys on this pen display.

Drawing performance is fantastic, and that applies to other drawing tablets and pen displays from Huion.

My third recommendation is the pen display that I always recommend to those who just want a no-frills pen display that looks good and works well. The Huion Kamvas 22 Plus probably has the best visual quality for its display compared to other products from Huion.

I measured 97% AdobeRGB and a maximum brightness of 315 nits. To find a pen display with over 90% AdobeRGB coverage and over 300 nits real world brightness is not easy. The main limitation with this pen display is the resolution is just 1080P. I really wish Huion would update this to at least 1440P resolution because that would be so awesome.

The official retail price is USD 499. So keep an eye out during Amazon Prime Day for this.

Pen tablet recommendations

The number of pen tablets on discount is quite limited in my opinion. There's the H641P, H950P, HS610P and H1061P.

If you have intention to buy a pen tablet, I recommend you get one with at least 10 x 6 inch drawing area because that size pairs well with monitor sizes up to 27-inches.

These two pen tablets above are not mentioned on the list of discounted products, but I still want to highlight them because they are the more recent products from Huion that I like. If you have more budget, these two options are really good, especially the Huion Inspiroy Pro Dial 2.
