Daniela Uhlig is a German digital artist known for her hyper stylised and almost realistic caricatures and or portraits.

This lady is so good at painting portraits that I was instantly reminded of Sebastian Krüger's portraits. Daniela Uhlig uses digital and Sebastian Krüger uses traditional techniques so their styles are different, but the portraits they paint both evoke the "this looks so good" emotion to me.

Daniela's technique is so refined. Her characters often have this sassy look and feel to them. She also paints a few characters from pop culture and those really caught my attention, such as Kimiko from The Boys, Beth Harmon from The Queen's Gambit, Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service and more. There's so much style in her portraits.

Art.Box: Daniela Uhlig is published by Editions Caurette and is part of the Art.Box series. The book's an 80-page paperback. Price is 19,90 Euros and this is available from the publisher's website.
