Book Review: Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars Episode I, II and III

I don't think there's any other books that feature as much detail and information on Star Wars spaceships and vehicles. The two artists are Hans Jenssen are Richard Chasemore.

It's seems that not all the ships and vehicles are included, but they've included a lot. And those included are rendered in amazing details. They are just short of drawing the nuts and bolts in. Each is accompanied by the data file on the specifications and the story behind. All the visible parts in the cross-sections are labeled, most of which are never shown in the movies.

These are pretty huge hardcover books. Well, they certainly deserve the larger canvas. There are gatefolds for even larger illustrations.

There are altogether five books on cross-sections, namely:

• Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars Episode I
• Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars Episode II
• Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars Episode III
• Incredible Cross-sections of Star Wars Episode IV, V & VI
• Star Wars Complete Cross-Sections: The Spacecraft and Vehicles of the Entire Star Wars Saga

If you don't already have any of the books, you should just get the Star Wars Complete Cross-Sections: The Spacecraft and Vehicles of the Entire Star Wars Saga. This book collects the four individual books at a very good price.

Highly recommended for all Star Wars fans and artists who are into mechanical drawings or spaceships
