The Death Edition — or Divine Edition in some places — looks good. It's for the PS3 only and comes with:
I thought the design for the game looked pretty good, even though the game play might be a clone of God of War.
Gamespot gave it a 6.5. That's pretty low. I hope it's not as bad as they say.
Just found out that there's also selling a 88-minute animated movie for the game as well. It reminds me of Berserk somehow.

This game looks really nice - from an artistic standpoint. I've played the demo on Xbox 360 and It's seems like a basic hack and slash, with waves of monsters that seem never ending. I think I'll pick it up tomorrow....really wished it was for PC though.
As for the animated version...oye it's pretty bad. The ending feels so rushed you don't even care what happens. It reminds me of the Final Fantasy movie from 2001. Great visuals hindered by a bad story.
I got this game and it is

I got this game and it is incredible, don't let the reviewers dissuade you. Certainly from an artistic standpoint this game stands out as exceptional with phenomenal designs by wayne barlowe that truly evoke the grandeur of hell. And it plays extremely well in my opinion.
I got the US divine edition and it is different from what is pictured here. It only has one disc and a different box. plus it comes with a code for a dlc level, but no deadspace costume.

I've read from a lot of forums that the Asia R3 version also comes with only 1 disc. I wonder why it's different from what was advertised.
Does it have the developer documentary and soundtrack on the disc you have?

Hey Parka, the PS3 version of the game only comes with one Blu-ray. And yes the developer commentary, soundtrack, Wayne Barlowe digital artbook (which is really just a video where Barlowe talks a little bit about himself and the game's concept art) are all present and accounted for. There's also a Dante in History documentary, trailer for the animated movie and the full poem is included as well.
@FoxHound Thanks for the

Yeah unfortunately you can only listen to it on your PS3. But... you can get it here: http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?p=1425351. That site is a godsend (pun intended) for soundtrack lovers such as myself.
