Jane grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, then married and moved to the Oregon, South Korea, Los Angeles and now San Diego. She has degrees in graphic design and Asian studies and has taken many classes and workshops. She is an artist and teacher who work has been published in various magazines and books. Don was born in Bountiful, Utah. He studied art and illustration at Utah State University, the Illustration Academy, and most recently as Syracuse University. He is an illustrator and educator and teaches illustration at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. He has just illustrated his first book, You Can't Go to School Naked.
