BLACK IDOL Vol 1 (Kickstarter)

Peter Popken (blog) has just launched a Kickstarter project for his graphic novel BLACK IDOL Vol 1. It's going to be a 60-page hardcover and needs funding to push it through to print.

Peter Popken is a concept artist who has worked on major films such as V for Vendetta, Hugo, Bourne Supremacy, and many more.

$50 tier to get a 60-page physical copy is waaaay too much, even for a hardcover. reMIND (which was reviewed here) is 152 pages hardcover, for only $25 even though the author had to pay additional amazon fees.

says first run print is limited in that your name gets to be in the acknowledgement. still not worth $50.
