Doug TenNapel Sketch Book Vol 2 (Kickstarter)

After the success of the Kickstarter campaign for the first sketchbook, Doug TenNapel is coming up with a second sketchbook. Doug TenNapel is the creator of Earthworm Jim, Neverhood and Catscratch.

The sketchbook will have 200 pages of sketches, complete notes on story writing and pitching for TV, ARMIKROG game designs and sketches, and pages from unfinished book Hixon Bragg.

Cedric Hohnstadt is publishing a book on drawing poses and has put his project on Kickstarter.

It's an instructional and idea book on conveying how characters feel by using their body language. Communicating through body language is the most fundamental technique to visual storytelling. This book should be useful for animators and those who draw characters.

Kickstarter: Now Where Was I? A Sketchbook Memoir by Steven B. Reddy

Teacher/illustrator/traveler Steven B. Reddy is launching his own sketchbook on Kickstarter. It's going to be a A4 book with close to 300 pages of art from his 35 years of sketching. There are going to be illustrations, sketches and narrative comics.

It's estimated to ship in Feb 2014.
