James Jean has provided a preview of his new art book called Kindling on his blog.
Kindling is actually a set of 12 removable prints from his "Kindling" art exhibit. The posters are 12" by 16" printed on thick poster stock, with sketches on the back of the poster.
Chronicle Books, the publisher, will be getting the book out in September 2009. Pre-order is now available on: Amazon.com | Amazon.ca | Amazon.co.uk | Amazon.fr | Amazon.de | Amazon.co.jp.
If you like it, you might want to pre-order it. I've no idea on the number of copies going to be published but his previous art book Fables Covers: The Art of James Jean Vol. 1 went into limited availability in just a few months after release, selling for five times the retail price currently. There will also be advance copies at San Diego Comic Con 2009 if you're going there.
I'll be getting one so there's going to be another review for it.
You can check out more of his work on his blog at processrecess.com, and also other James Jean related stuff here.

Guess what? James Jean has a flipping-page video as well!

Kindling: 12 Removable Prints looks like a BIG waste of money... I would never get that.
