This is not exactly an instructional art book on watercolour. The vague instructions and lack of specific techniques don't make it very useful.
It's more of David Curtis' observations on his way of handling watercolours and subjects. There are some step-by-step demonstrations where you can get an idea of how he works. You can get some inspiration but nothing technical.
The watercolour paintings of David Curtis are beautiful, which is the point of this book. He has a nice textured grainy style for his watercolours.
